Boy, those early DC War comics sure brought back lots of great memories. I'm a 1946 post-war baby, and growing up in the 50s reading comics, the mood of patriotism and remembering our brave men and women who fought that war was genuine. Later, when I joined the army and went to Vietman I met the real Sgt.Rock's of this world and I'm here to tell you America (bastion of liberty) still produces the greatest fighting men and women the world has ever seen. Guess its because we have the greatest country in the world and She's worthy of them.
